GLUCOSAMINE - The main role of glucosamine is to stimulate the synthesis of glucosaminoglycans which are important for joint lubrication. It plays a vital role in maintaining cartilage, the gel-like material that cushions joints.
CHONDROITIN - A naturally occurring building block of joint tissue and cartilage that also exhibits an anti-inflammatory effect.
GINGER - Works as a natural anti inflammatory. Used traditionally to assist in increasing the blood flow to problem areas, encouraging the repair of damaged tissue and therefore reducing inflammation.
PROLINE – Is an amino acid and a key building block of collagen, the main protein of connective tissue (blood, cartilage and bones).

WARFARIN – glucosamine may increase the risk of bleeding with warfarin. Seek medical advice if taking warfarin.

SEAFOOD – Derived from seafood – For sufferers of seafood allergies glucosamine sulphate is derived from marine sources (crustacean shells). Not recommended for people with seafood allergies.
